Life is a garden of successes waiting to be harvested. The potential bounty comes in all shapes and sizes. Some will resemble the decadent sweetness of melon and some the nutritional fortitude of leafy greens. But together these successes create a lifetime of potential harvest and well being.

As the farmer of this eternally blossoming crop it’s important to revel in the diversity of your garden. Savor the successes and remember that not all fruits and vegetables blossom at the same time. And look for the signs of those new buds! Welcome into your definition of success all aspects of the blooming process–including the creation of the rich soil and the planting of the seeds.

So how does this translate into real life? How do we cultivate those new beliefs that support a healthy mind?

Think big–but start small. Success is not an “all or nothing” entity. A big success is nothing more than a series of small successes that combine to become mighty. Expect it. See it. Or simply feel it. Allow it to evolve–which means relaxing into the challenging moments with the same confidence that you rejoice into the moments of obvious forward motion.

Success is fluid so remember that the challenges serve a purpose. When you can relax and observe and learn, these challenges can inspire your most rewarding insights. Let the stumbles guide you toward new ideas and let them serve as reminders for defining what it is that you do want.

Celebrate the “small” achievements and appreciate each moment that a new seed is planted in your garden. Allow yourself to feel as proud of those areas of your life that are “still growing” as you do about those areas that have already made it to your table.

The richness of your life comes from viewing your “garden” with the loving eyes of a true gardener. Love the sun. Love the rain. Love the fertilizer that makes the soil vibrant and “more”. Love the sprouts as they push up through the soil. Love the buds and love the harvest. Love the plants that seem to take forever to grow and love the plants that blossom quickly. Love the plants that struggle. Love the plants that thrive easily.

All are signs that your garden is vibrant and that this garden of life is “maturing”. All is as it is intended to be. All in its good time. All responding to the loving belief and nurturing of you, the caretaker.

Breathe in this new perspective and allow yourself to acknowledge the abundance of success all around you. Free yourself from the bondage of believing that success means that “there is no more to be had in any aspect of my life–I have it all..” This was perhaps well intentioned programming but it doesn’t empower the successful gardener. It is a flawed belief so time to add it to the mental compost pile.

Yes, Life is MEANT to be vibrant and flowing. Each moment is unique but mighty. Each moment carries with it the opportunity for jubilation. And while one plant is blooming, another is just exploring beyond its seed. So revel in this luscious process– and know that it is this constant change that creates the promise of eternally more.

This is the harmony of Nature, of kinetic motion, of eternity …of Life.

So go out into this day with eyes ready to appreciate and to savor your own garden of successes. Revel in its diversity. Relax and rejoice in the seeds that have been sown. Embrace the process of planting these seeds with the same satisfaction that you view the fruits ready for harvest. Know that these too will bloom!

Be as proud of your small goals and small successes as you are of the windfalls. Invite joy into your day and into your life.

For you ARE the mighty gardener! You ARE a collage of successes. All around you are signs of growth and becoming. Dig your hands into the dirt. Celebrate your own unique abundance of successes whether they are “finished” successes or successes in motion!

It is Time! Time to welcome in the immensity of your garden and to feel the power of a Life that is constantly growing. For this makes it well worth each minute of YOUR century. How will you celebrate this opportunity to cultivate a mighty life on this planet?
